Dale's books!
A Telephone Book for teenagers!
Dale loved the Fifties, and this certainly fits that decade. I find the last page interesting because I have no idea who originally owned this little treasure. Those 'bright ideas' are hand-written (not Dale's handwriting).

PLAYING CARDS
I looked closer at the cards and, lo and behold, Brenda Lee is the 'queen of diamonds' in this set! If you look closely you can see that the 'Brenda' card is a bit yellowed, in comparison to the rest. It was not in sequence with the others; obviously pulled out, to share. Dale was always so excited to share his special 'finds' or new purchases of anything 'Brenda'!

YOURS TIL . . .
This little book is filled with ideas for writing in someone's autograph book. Notice the hand-written name on the introductory page. I pretty sure this is Dale's handwriting. I am curious about it. I'm guessing it was probably given to him, by this woman named DeLores Beckwar. I did a bit of research and found an obituary for her husband, Leonard M. Beckwar. It is an interesting story. Find his obituary here:

I wonder if a family member might not want to have this small little book.
